How writing consistently on multiple platforms helped me quit my 9–5 in 6 months
It all started 6 months ago, I have an indecisive boss, many Zoom calls that don’t need me, and lots more offline meetings. They take away so much time that makes me unable to work on my projects. I thought of what I built up a year ago that is now on hold.
I decided to give them one more try and write consistently. This time it worked perfectly. Thank god and thank myself for doing this consistently
But first, editing is important
But I also did some editing and prioritizing among different platforms before I started again. I kept Instagram but ditched the new X, and reduced the amount of Facebook page-specific content. Then, group a couple of blogs across channels into one. Then sync the content with those I post on freelancing platforms.
Another thing is I unified the logo of my accounts across most of the platforms, except for Medium and HKESE, an HK freelancing platform. As for these platforms I decided to use my photo instead.
This also helps me with content diversification, as I now have a clear picture of the platforms and preferences of each one.
